Today we have what can only be described as a perfect family lifestyle shoot at home. A family lifestyle shoot at home is fast becoming the most preferred way to capture your children. I mean what could be better than being at home relaxed and comfortable carrying out your favorite hobby or activity together whilst your photographer snaps away.
We think this gorgeous shoot captured so beautifully and effortlessly by Cecelina Photography is a great way to document your little ones growing up.
From Donnie: I moved to London from Cape Town when I was 23 for what I thought would be a year at most! Marty worked with one of my best friends from high school and I joined them one night for after-work drinks and within two weeks of landing in London we were dating and its been 11 years and I am STILL in London! If I am honest (hardcore Londoners look away) I hope we are not in London 11 years from now. I lived in South Africa, Singapore and Australia growing up and I would like my boys to experience living in different countries. My dream move would be to go back to Asia or the West Coast of America.
I always knew I would have boys and started buying blue clothes when I was only 6 weeks pregnant with Teddy and everyone thought I was crazy!! I named by youngest son Ford after my Irish great grandmother whose maiden name was Forde. I get some really weird reactions when I tell people his name-one women asked me if my other one was called Citroen. Having two young boys and running a business is trying at times but I can see a light at the end of the toddler tunnel, as Ford gets older they play together more and more which is so lovely to see! My mom wants me to try for a girl but I don’t think my sanity or my very white house would survive a third!
My background is as a wedding & lifestyle photographer, shooting both digital and film to create authentic, soft and natural fine art photographs. Working primarily with natural light to give my work a beautiful, light and airy touch infused with soft tones.
I have always appreciated and valued the simple things in life and finding the interesting in the ordinary. Coco Lane was founded as I wanted to create something that is about an experience, the slower pace of life, cosiness and candlelight, cuddling up on the sofa with loved ones, being with the people you love, sharing food with close friends, a feeling of home, nurturing a chosen career, wanderlust travels, savouring the small moments in everyday life and just being you and enjoying a cup of tea.
I'm excited to bring you stories that promote all those moments in life that give us value and meaning; inspiring us to live beautifully.
"I began to realize how important it was to be an enthusiast in life. If you are interested in something, no matter what it is. Go at it full speed. Embrace it with both arms, hug it, love it, and above all become passionate about it. Lukewarm is no good" - Roald Dahl
