Now that the days are getting longer and it's starting to warm up here in the UK, it won't be long until we can rejoice in the beautiful soft light of the golden hour. Until then we can lose ourselves in this gorgeous french hazy golden light photography workshop attended by talented film photographer and Coco Lane contributor, Inna from Andyourstory Photography
From Inna: Early June is a magical time to experience the beauty of French Countryside. The air is fragrant with a smell of flowers, the fields are a riot of colour and golden summer light has that gentle shimmer that I like to think of as magical. Giverny, a quaint village in the Normandy region of France, is a place where Monet lived and created his famous water lilies canvases. The place is a bottomless well of inspiration for a visual artist looking for natural, rustic aesthetic.
The charming farmhouse where the shoot and the events of the day unfolded, was an ideal backdrop for all my French Countryside dreams come alive.
The serenity of the gardens, lazy afternoon sunlight streaming into the spacious rustic kitchen, elegantly curated table setting by Nessa Buonomo, french wine, simple but really good food and gorgeous flowers by the Garden Gate Flower Company, created an atmosphere of charming carefree elegance. Our girls wore sensible beautiful dresses by Maria Luisa Rabell, their hair was elegantly styled but feet left bare to roam around the garden, gather apples for dinner, play with flowers and take in all the golden beauty of the warm summer afternoon.
