I'm absolutely captivated by this beautiful engagement session by Heather Payne Photography and Lacy Geary. With soft tones, stunning natural light and the beautiful backdrop of Sunstone Winery, this is certainly one you will want to take your time scrolling through!
From Designer, Lacy Geary - Kevin and Sarah had such a fun dynamic and impeccable style that made the session take on a life of its own and ended up with beautiful and meaningful images. The sweet couple wanted to capture themselves in the soft light of California so we chose the Santa Ynez Valley as the backdrop. The natural landscape made for the perfect location to provide light filled images. Watching these two run through the fields laughing and giggling was so genuine to their story. Heather captured their connection and sweet embraces in the purest way.
Engagement sessions are such a wonderful way to get to know your clients and how they interact with one another. They don't have to be overdone or overly embellished but to capture small moments and details of the shoot are quite important in telling the story of your clients and understanding who they are and a great location and/or venue helps to capture the essence of what they like and are drawn to.
My background is as a wedding & lifestyle photographer, shooting both digital and film to create authentic, soft and natural fine art photographs. Working primarily with natural light to give my work a beautiful, light and airy touch infused with soft tones.
I have always appreciated and valued the simple things in life and finding the interesting in the ordinary. Coco Lane was founded as I wanted to create something that is about an experience, the slower pace of life, cosiness and candlelight, cuddling up on the sofa with loved ones, being with the people you love, sharing food with close friends, a feeling of home, nurturing a chosen career, wanderlust travels, savouring the small moments in everyday life and just being you and enjoying a cup of tea.
I'm excited to bring you stories that promote all those moments in life that give us value and meaning; inspiring us to live beautifully.
"I began to realize how important it was to be an enthusiast in life. If you are interested in something, no matter what it is. Go at it full speed. Embrace it with both arms, hug it, love it, and above all become passionate about it. Lukewarm is no good" - Roald Dahl
